For the agency's 2011 annual report, MTC dispatched photographers to a wide array of work sites around the region to take "on the job" portraits of the men and women who are working hard to provide today's transportation services and build tomorrow's improvements. We photographed literally hundreds of workers, striving for a representative sampling of the region's large and diverse transportation workforce.
