The MTC community
art program presents:
Hiro Sugimura:
Mirrored Reflections
Hiro Sugimura, landscape photographer, visual artist and
amazing family
man, lives in New Canaan, Connecticut. He has devoted his
life to
capturing the essence of nature and providing for his family.
Hiro
received his degree from the University of California Berkeley
in Visual
Design, and lived in the East Bay for many years before
relocating to Connecticut.
Regarding his approach to photography, Hiro enjoys the
dance of light,
reflection, shadow and the vast landscape that covers our
country. His
work is alternately spontaneous and deliberate, often with
a hint of
mysticism. His Mirrored Reflections collection, an evolving
project for over
15 years, combines a dual love for nature photography and
natural allure.
Here, water and landscapes are melded carefully together
with a mix of
surprise, awe, vivid color — and the unique eye of
a pure artist.
