Some of the significant changes in the amendment are the addition of $11.6 million in federal Highway Safety Improvement Program funds for FY10 and FY11; the addition of a new grouped listing for US 206 recreational grants program in the amount of $1.6 million and the addition of two new projects funded by the $240,000 in Eastern Solano CMAQ funds. The revision also deletes the Rumrill Bridge Replacement project, as it was a duplicate TIP listing.

Amendment 07-25 updates the project listing and funding for 33 existing projects; adds six new air-quality exempt projects to the 2007 TIP and deletes two projects from the 2007 TIP. The net funding change in this amendment is $10,714,240. The significant changes in this revision include: Decreasing the funding for the Golden Gate Bridge Seismic Retrofit, Ph: 3B by $130.2 million to reflect the new Highway Bridge Program (HBP) listing numbers generated by Caltrans; as well as decreasing the funding for Golden Gate Bridge Seismic Retrofit, Ph: 1-3A project by $48.1 million for the same reason. Additionally, the BART Seismic Retrofit Program was increased $44.7 million to reflect the new HBP listing. There was a transfer of funds between the Sonoma and Marin US 101 Marin/Sonoma Narrows projects. The Sonoma project (SON07004) decreased by $46.3 million while the Marin project (MRN050034) increased by $60.4 million due to addition of State funds outside the TIP years.

Amendment 07-24 is the annual all transit TIP Amendment. The amendment constrains the FY 2007-08 Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Section 5307 and Section 5309 programs to actual appropriations, adds FTA funded earmarks, and makes adjustments to other previously programmed FTA-funded projects. The amendment also adds the FY 2008-09 FTA Section 5307 and Section 5309 programs to the TIP, which total approximately $350 million. The amendment also updates the grouped listing for the FTA Section 5311 program.

Some of the significant changes in the amendment are as follows: the project cost for the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge project has increased by $179.2 million; $16.695 million has been added to San Francisco Municipal Railway (MUNI)'s Miscellaneous Security Improvements & Graffiti Prevention project and $15.289 million to the Grouped Listing for SHOPP Emergency Response projects.
