MTC Annual Report 2010

2010 Annual Report Released

February 23, 2011... MTC today released its 2010 Annual Report, titled "Marking Milestones." Noting that 2010 was an "epic year of launches, lifts and groundbreakings," the report showcases a half-dozen high-profile MTC-sponsored and funded projects that made significant advances last year. Featured events include the introduction of the new Clipper transit fare card, the lifting into place of the first deck and tower segments for the self-anchored suspension portion of the new East Span of the Bay Bridge, and the groundbreaking for the new Transbay Transit Center in San Francisco, and more.

The report also celebrates the 40th anniversary of the creation of MTC by the state Legislature in 1970, and takes note of significant anniversaries in the lives of MTC's principal partner agencies in the Bay Area — the Association of Bay Area Governments, the Bay Area Air Quality Management District and the Bay Conservation and Development Commission.

The MTC 2010 Annual Report also contains MTC's financial statements for fiscal year 2009-10.
