MTC Guidebook Garners National Award

[1-30-08] The just-published ABCs of MTC has been recognized by the Transportation Research Board (TRB) at its annual conference held in Washington, D.C., in January. The 42-page primer was one of 11 communication tools honored by TRB in its first “Communicating With John + Jane Q. Public” contest, designed to further the practice of crafting communications for nontechnical audiences. MTC’s book was selected by a panel of communication and technical experts from both within and outside of TRB from among 72 entries covering a variety of media: videos, games and tools, graphics, books and booklets, and CD-ROMs and Web sites.
