This page provides an overview and regional updates of MTC's efforts to ensure that lack of transportation is not a barrier for welfare recipients attempting to enter or return to the workforce.
The Information Station
This web site by the Community Transportation Association of America (CTAA) is devoted to the issue of employment transportation. Links to other sites and contacts are available.
Welfare Information Network (WIN)
This online clearinghouse provides information about implementing welfare-to-work programs. Links can be found to welfare legislation, policy analysis, and technical assistance sites. The WIN website is updated weekly.
Welfare-to-Work Partnership
This site seeks to assist employers in integrating former welfare recipients into their workplace, with online resources, best practice materials, research reports and conferences.
