| Tract Level GIS files for Assisting in Census 2010 Participant Statistical Areas Program (PSAP)
. Two set of ArcGIS "shp" files are available for use in the PSAP: a tract-level file using the Teleatlas North America (TANA)
tract boundaries; and the same data using the Census Bureau's TIGER 2008 tract boundaries. Data includes Census 2000 counts of households,
household population and total population (TOTHH00, HHPOP00, TOTPOP00); and ABAG Projections 2007 estimates of 2010 households, household
population and total population (TOTHH10, HHPOP10, TOTPOP10). These are files discussed at a 12/4/08 meeting at the ABAG/MTC offices, as
an introduction to the Census Bureau's PSAP program. The files are here: ftp://ftp.abag.ca.gov/pub/mtc/planning/census/psap/ (Added: December 5, 2008) |
