The Spatial Library on MTC's Data Portal includes geospatial and tabular data for the nine-county San Francisco Bay Area. MTC organizes the data into the following categories:

Map Gallery

MTC uses geographic information system (GIS) technology to map and analyze transportation systems/projects and perform related analyses. The Map Gallery on MTC's Data Portal includes maps of the month, MTC applications, RTP-related maps, and web mapping tools.

Modeling Library

Explore MTC's travel model, including technical model results, related projects, its activity-based model development, user's guide, and consistency guidelines.

Bay Area Census

Census data, specific to the SF Bay Area, provided by a joint effort from MTC and ABAG.

State of the System Reports

MTC and Caltrans have prepared a joint report with facts and figures on the performance of the Bay Area Transportation System.
