The World Congress on ITS is the world’s largest event
focusing on technologies for improving roadway, transit and
rail transportation safety and efficiency. More than 5,000
of the world’s leading transportation innovators, business
and technology leaders, and government officials at all levels
travel the globe each year to participate in this important
gathering. With a focus on practical deployment as well as
education and innovation, the World Congress enhances our ability
to achieve new levels of safety, reliability, convenience,
accessibility and choice.
The 12th World Congress will offer unprecedented features
such as the Innovative Mobility Showcase — the largest
integrated demonstration of ITS technologies ever in the United
States — presented in a campus setting at SBC Park and
on the streets of San Francisco. The Showcase will give attendees
the opportunity to experience firsthand emerging ITS applications
that will improve safety and mobility. In addition, nearly
200 exhibitors will display their technologies at The Moscone
Center and more than 750 industry experts will present
