Regional Airport Systems Plan Update:
Phase 1 Conclusions and Recommendations
and Recommended Phase 2 Work Program

The Regional Airport Planning Committee (RAPC) cordially invites you to a public workshop on September 19, 2007 from 6:00 to 8:30 PM at the MetroCenter in Oakland at 101 8th Street to discuss the Regional Airport Systems Plan Update.

The workshop will provide information on aviation industry trends and emerging technologies that improve runway capacity at Bay Area commercial airports. RAPC wants public input and recommendations for the next phase of the project, which is intended to: develop consensus on a long-range aviation plan for the region that potentially includes airline and air cargo service at alternative airports; assess impacts of a proposed California High Speed Rail System; and further exploration of new air traffic control technology and demand management strategies at existing airports.
