Shanghai: Loading Tower Segments for Self-Anchored

Bay Area officials
are eagerly awaiting the arrival of a cargo
ship carrying the first tower sections for
the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge’s
iconic Self-Anchored Suspension (SAS) Span.
The shipment departed from Shanghai on June
18 aboard the Zhenhua 18, and is expected to
arrive in mid-July.
