Bay Area motorists who sign up for a FasTrak toll tag can now score a free ticket for an upcoming Oakland Athletics home game. Thanks to a partnership between the A’s and the Bay Area Toll Authority (BATA), new customers who enroll in the FasTrak electronic toll collection program online through Friday, July 14, will receive a coupon allowing them to buy two Plaza Level tickets for the price of one for A’s games at the McAfee Coliseum on Monday evening, August 7, against the Texas Rangers or Monday evening, August 14, against the Seattle Mariners. New FasTrak customers may use their 2-for-1 coupons to buy A’s tickets at any time through game day. The coupons will be sent as part of the customer’s new FasTrak account kit. The Plaza Level tickets — which normally are priced at $20 each— are subject to availability. The 2-for-1 ticket offer is available only to FasTrak customers who enroll online at 511.org or bayareafastrak.org. The FasTrak toll tags can be used on the seven state-owned bridges in the Bay Area and on the Golden Gate Bridge. BATA is an arm of the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC), the transportation planning, financing and coordinating agency for the nine-county San Francisco Bay Area. BATA administers toll revenues from the Bay Area's seven state-owned toll bridges. # # # |
