Draft 2001 Regional Transportation Plan

WHO: The Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC)
WHAT: The Draft 2001 Regional Transportation Plan will be released for public
review. The plan outlines the Bay Area's anticipated transportation needs over the next 25 years and
how $82 billion in projected federal, state and local transportation funds should be invested.

Copies of the Draft 2001 Regional Transportation Plan will be available at the meeting. The
plan also will be posted on the MTC Web site at <www.mtc.ca.gov>.
A news release describing highlights of the plan will be issued Friday, August 10th.
The Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) is the transportation planning, financing and
coordinating agency for the nine-county Bay Area.
