NOTE to reporters: Please park at the Interpretive Center. For safety and security reasons, buses – provided by AC Transit – will take guests to the site of the ribbon-cutting. If you must drive your car or if you miss the bus, stop at the Interpretive Center to pick up a pass that will allow you to drive through the northernmost toll lane (toll lane #10) and park near the site of the ribbon-cutting. (In case of rain, the program will take place at the Interpretive Center and not on the bridge.)

DIRECTIONS: From the East Bay, take Interstate 880 to the Highway 92/San Mateo Hayward Bridge exit. Go west and take the Clawiter Road exit (the last exit before the toll plaza). At the four-way stoplight, go straight and then turn left immediately after the service station, onto Breakwater Avenue. Follow the frontage road to the Interpretive Center. From the West Bay, take U.S. Highway 101 to the Highway 92/San Mateo Hayward Bridge exit. After crossing the bridge eastbound, take the first exit after the toll plaza (Clawiter Road/Eden Landing Road), cross over the freeway and turn left at the four-way stoplight. Go straight, then turn left immediately after the service station, onto Breakwater Avenue. Follow the frontage road to the Interpretive Center.
