Transportation Summit Slated for Bay Area

Public Joins Regional and National Leaders Saturday, June 14 to Begin Developing New Bay Area Transportation Plan

"Transportation 2030: Getting From Here to There" at the Palace Hotel – A free conference sponsored by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission that will begin a community-wide dialogue on major decisions anticipated as part of the Bay Area’s long-range transportation plan and will serve as a guide to future projects, policies and investments.

More than 500 participants already are registered and will engage with these and other local and national leaders to discuss a range of topics, including the link between transportation and land use. Attendees are encouraged to raise new issues and concerns about Bay Area transportation.
