Transactions Retrospective: 1997
"A couple of them are the stuff of picture postcards, engineering marvels that soar several
hundred feet above the water and reach for the sky with daring, gravity-defying towers." So
began a cover story highlighting expansion and retrofit plans for the region's toll
bridges.
