  • Voted to establish a new interagency coordinating committee that brings together the boards of MTC, the Association of Bay Area Governments and the Bay Area Air Quality Management District. Each agency will appoint three members to the panel, which will deal with federal air quality planning, smart growth initiatives, and monetary incentive programs that encourage better linkage between transportation, air quality and land-use objectives.
  • Allocated $3,970,328 in net bridge toll revenues to AC Transit as a local match for several federally funded projects, including the purchase of replacement buses.
