Annual Report Focuses on Bridge Upgrade Program

You can tell a book by its cover, at least in the case of MTC’s 2005 Annual Report. The front features a close-up photo of a massive precast concrete deck segment being lifted into place on the new East Span of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. The interplay of form and shadow makes for an intriguing abstract image, and signals the report’s theme: “Bay Area Bridges: Stronger. Sleeker. Safer.”
