Funding Guide Updated

The second edition of MTC's guide to "where the money comes from and how it is spent" has been published. Like its predecessor, which came out in January of 1999, this small book covers the basics of transportation funding in clear, simple terms, explains how the interested citizen can get involved in the decision-making process, and demystifies transportation jargon.

Detailed tables showing available funding from federal, state and local sources have been updated, as have the phone numbers and addresses for congestion management, public transit and regulatory agencies.
