Words of Praise
Motorists who have been helped by the Freeway Service Patrol are enthusiastic in their
praise. Here are some of the comments received by the FSP in the past year or so via
letters, voicemail, e-mails and survey forms.
- "While heading east on Interstate 80, my car's engine just stopped. After about 10
minutes a tow truck pulled up behind me. This was indeed a 'heavenly gift.' Please
continue this outstanding service. I really appreciated the help."
- "On a scale of 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest rating, your program receives a
12."
- "Thank you! I thought I was in for a bad day, but I got help immediately, for free,
and was back on the road within 10 minutes. This is a great service for the Bay
Area."
- "My car broke down on the freeway today. [The FSP driver] did an excellent job in
helping me. She was very kind and friendly. I just wanted to let you know she was
wonderful."
- "I wanted to send a hearty thank-you for such an excellent service. I ran out of
gas on Interstate 280 in Cupertino yesterday. Thanks for [the FSP driver's] friendly
assistance and for such a great program. I am really happy to see our taxes being spent
on something so useful."
- "My car had a flat as I got on Highway 37. Within minutes, a tow truck pulled up
behind me. I didn't know guardian angels ride in tow trucks -- now I do. Thank
you."
- "Great service, good job, keep up the good work."
- "I would like to comment that I think your service is fabulous. I think you provide
a wonderful service to the community at large. I feel very safe knowing that you are
out there doing your job in a very dangerous environment."
- "A knight in shining armor! What a fantastic service. Thank you!"
