ALAMEDA

Adeline Corridor Pedestrian/Bicycle Improvements (Berkeley)
Improve bicycle and pedestrian access along the Adeline Street corridor in South Berkeley. Project is adjacent to the Ashby BART station, and the planned Ed Roberts Campus. Improvements include pedestrian lights, audible crosswalk signals, crosswalk re-striping, and bollards.

Concord BART/John F. Kennedy University Streetscape and Pedestrian Access Upgrades
Construct and landscape new pedestrian walkways, BART plaza (with seating and directional kiosks), and kiss-and-ride area at the Concord BART station. Streetscape elements complement recently completed improvements in downtown Concord and planned streetscape improvements at JFK University.

Conduct a community-based planning and design process for the Central Richmond Greenway, which will be located on an abandoned rail line.

Richmond Transit Village -- Nevin Walkway/Plaza
Construct a new pedestrian plaza at the Richmond BART/Amtrak station, including reconstruction of the station walkway entrance to grade level, plaza amenities, and new stairwell on the station's west side. This is the site of the planned Richmond Transit Village, a new community of housing, retail, public space and a regional cultural/educational center.

San Anselmo Downtown Revitalization Project: Gateway and Transit Hub Improvements
Enhance the gateway into downtown San Anselmo from Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and improve its bus transit hub facility. Project elements include historic lighting, landscaping, signage wall at entryway, benches, bus arbor/shelter and bicycle racks.

Mahon Path (San Rafael)
Construct a 12-foot-wide, Class I bike route and pedestrian path along an abandoned rail line adjacent to Mahon Creek. The Mahon Path will connect to existing bike facilities, downtown San Rafael, and the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District Transit Center.

Main Street Pedestrian and Driftwood Drive Pedestrian/ Bicycle Streetscape Upgrades (Suisun City)
Provide streetscape improvements on the west side of Main Street and along Driftwood Drive in Suisun City's downtown waterfront area. Project elements include new street trees, drinking fountains, special pavement treatment at crosswalks, kiosk at the Amtrak station and ADA-required improvements.

Jepson Parkway

Urban Design and Vision -- Phase I: Pedestrian Linkage (Santa Rosa)

Project includes improved crossings under Highway 101 and at downtown intersections, reconfigured intersections, widened sidewalks, lighting, signage, street trees and other amenities.

La Plaza Community Use Plan, Downtown Cotati
Complete community-based planning process for the La Plaza Ring Junction concept, designed to reduce downtown Cotati traffic congestion, enlarge and/or unify La Plaza Park, and create a more pedestrian-friendly environment. The concept would create a large ring road intersected by spoke roads, with several mini-roundabouts controlling the intersections of the ring and spoke roads.
