MTC Revamps Committee Structure

As MTC has taken on the additional roles of the Bay Area Toll Authority (BATA) and the Service Authority for Freeways and Expressways (SAFE), its committees have proliferated. In July, the Commission streamlined the agency's standing committees, in the process simplifying the panels' names and clarifying their mandates. The new committee structure will take effect in November.
