• Met in joint session with the Association of Bay Area Governments and the Bay Area Air Quality Management District to adopt the Revised Bay Area 2001 Ozone Attainment Plan and forward it to the California Air Resources Board.
• Allocated $2.06 million in annual Transportation Development Act moneys to Alameda County and $581,190 to Contra Costa County to improve bicycle and pedestrian mobility, and upgrade wheelchair access.
