Toll Increase InformationMULTI-AXLE VEHICLE TOLLS TO RISE JULY 1, 2012Beginning July 1, 2012, tolls for multi-axle vehicles on the seven state-owned bridges will be fully indexed at $5 times the number of axles. This includes vehicle combinations such as pickup/boat trailer and RV/auto as well as big rig trucks. Tolls on the Golden Gate Bridge will be fully indexed at $6 times the number of axles, with a $5 per axle rate for FasTrak customers. State law requires tolls on state-owned bridges to be based on the total number of axles. As of July 1, 2012, toll rates for multi-axle vehicles on the Bay Area’s seven state-owned toll bridges (Antioch, Benicia-Martinez, Carquinez, Dumbarton, Richmond-San Rafael, San Francisco-Oakland Bay and San Mateo-Hayward) are:
