MTC and the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) invite members of the public to pop-up workshops throughout the summer to provide feedback on the next iteration of the Bay Area’s long-range plan, known as Plan Bay Area 2050+. The first event will take place in San Francisco on Sunday, July 30.

Plan Bay Area 2050+ is a limited and focused update to the adopted long-range regional plan, Plan Bay Area 2050.

Developing Plan Bay Area 2050+ will require deep engagement with the public, partners and elected officials to better understand how life has changed over the last three years as the Bay Area enters the “new normal.”

Learn about the plan and provide feedback at one of the on-the-spot workshops at various festivals, events and community gathering places throughout the nine county Bay Area. Visit PlanBayArea.org to see the schedule of pop-up workshops and join the conversation.

At these events, staff will also seek input on the parallel Transit 2050+ plan and hear residents’ priorities for the potential 2026 regional transportation revenue measure.
